The €5.300 Main Event of the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) 2026 at King’s Casino Prague played out its Day 4 yesterday.

Event #5: €5.300 WSOPE Main Event NLH European Championship

2.617 entries had created a prize pool of €13.085.000 – a record field for the World Series Of Poker Europe and thus a successful start at the new location in Prague.

For yesterday’s Day 4, 85 players returned to the tables with a guaranteed payout of €18.000. Even though the €2.000.000 top prize will not be won today, but only on the final day tomorrow, Friday, all focus is nevertheless on this sum.

At the end of the day, 25 players remained for the final. Many big international and DACH names fell by the wayside, such as Onur Gizir (DE) in 68th place for €22.500, Mahmoud Bedoui (DE) in 48th place for €30.000, Josh Arieh (USA) in 44th place for €35.000, Roberto Romanello (UK) in 42nd place for €35.000, Shiina Okamoto (JP) in 37th place for €40.000, and Annette Obrestad (NOR) in 34th place for €40.000.

Among the remaining players, there are still three DACH representatives with Maksym Mamon (CH) in 17th place, Markus Bonus (CH) in 13th place, and Peter Koevesdi in 6th place.

The chip leader with 137 big blinds is the Finn Hengtao Zhu, closely followed by the Briton Brandon Sheils with 133 big blinds.
