The kickoff of the Poker France Belgique Masters powered by PFB was made on Wednesday at the Grand Casino As (GCA) by the first of six Main Event flights. At least a guaranteed €100.000 of the €180k festival guarantee awaits the successful participants in the 2-Day Event. After an associated €40 satellite, the cards were in the air in the €200 Main Event starting at 18:00 at an initially manageable three tournament tables.

At the start of the PFB Main Event, an improvable 21 players gathered in the Bohemian casino. The majority of the French and Belgian players from the Franco-Belgian co-host were not yet on site. And the enthusiasm of the 1A participants was also rather restrained during late registration. The 50.000 starting chips, used for the 30-minute blind levels, were only re-purchased 1-time for the entry fee of €170+€30. With a total of 22 entries, it was certain that only 3 starters from Flight 1A would make the leap into the final (SUN, 13:00).
