Anyone looking at the winner’s list of the Grand Casino As (GCA) can easily get the impression that there is a copy-paste error. Responsible for this is the GCA phenomenon “Unavenej”! The serial winner and most successful GCA player of all time followed up his victory on Thursday in the Thursday 3k by securing his next success in the Classic Deepstack. Previously, he gave others a chance in the Noon Turbo and on the final day of the Soulex Cash Game Festival in the PLO Highroller.

€50 Noon Turbo
In the traditional Noon Turbo, 26 well-rested players sat at the tournament tables on the 1st floor starting at 12:00. The buy-in of €44+€6 was paid 12 more times for re-entries, resulting in a prize pool of €1,672 for the top 6. After the bustouts of “Gabor 75” (6th, €80), Desiree Wagner (5th, €125), and finally the GCA leaderboard champion “MagicMan 558” (4th, €393), the last three players agreed on a deal. This gave “Schmied” €393, runner-up Roger Weber €414, and as the Noon Turbo winner, “Uwe” received €485.

€660 PLO Turbo Highroller
Satellites were played throughout the day for the PLO Turbo Highroller, intended to allow all visiting Omaha players to start in the €600+60 PLO Turbo Highroller even for a small amount. Starting at 13:00, the satellite for the PLO Highroller ran, with 3 tickets (3x €660) guaranteed for a €100+€10 entry fee. For everyone who was not successful there, Flip ’n‘ Go satellites with a €110+€10 buy-in took place starting at 15:00.
In the PLO Turbo Highroller, 14 players including qualifiers started at 16:00, with an additional 14 re-entries. “Mexxo” from Germany won, taking home €10,000.

€80 Classic Deepstack
The highlight and conclusion of every Classic Week at GCA is the Classic Deepstack. For the buy-in of €70+€10, 111 players gathered in the GCA Pokerroom in the evening, and with 33 re-entries, they ensured that the €10,000 guarantee was broken, with a final prize pool of €10,080 for the top 22.

Among the ITM finishers were several well-known GCA regs like “Osti22LS” (15th, €150), “Gabor75” (13th, €150), or “Brudi” (12th, €180). At the final table, everyone was guaranteed at least €220. “Lucinda” also regularly secures her place there. The most successful GCA player was eliminated in the Deepstack in 9th place (€220). “Mike12” (€310), “Berndexx” (€415), Hakan Schäl (€525), and Huu Manh Nguyen (€645) followed her to the rails. When Thomas Butz was eliminated in 4th place with a €900 payout, the remaining trio agreed on a deal.
At the end of the Classic 10k tournament, Sven Johansson from Germany received €1,490 for third place, the same amount as his compatriot Frank Schmuser in 2nd place. As the winner of the Classic Deepstack, a total of €2,300 went to none other than the Czech serial winner “Unavenej”. The GCA phenomenon thus continued to defy all odds and entered his name into the GCA winner’s list once again.
