On Friday, the Main Event starting days 1C and 1D were on the program at the German Poker Days powered by GPD. In the M.E. alone, at least €300,000 is guaranteed in the prize pool. At King’s Resort Rozvadov, it was not only about qualifying for the final tomorrow, Sunday, but also about the €400 min-cash and the chipleader bonus of €1,150!

German Poker Days – Main Event
The German Poker Days are a staple among the poker festivals at King’s Resort. In the current edition, the GPD Main Event features a guaranteed prize pool of at least €300,000, including 10 packages worth €3,000 each for the King’s Million European Poker Championship! Anyone wishing to participate can qualify for the final (Sun, 17:00) via 8 flights (7 starting days, 1 Flip and Go). The top 10% of flight participants make the cut. The money ranks, including the €400 min-cash, are reached once 15% of the players remain on the starting day. Furthermore, the chip lead on regular starting days is rewarded with a €1,150 chipleader bonus in the form of King’s Main Event tickets. The entry fee is €199, under €200, for which you receive 50,000 starting chips and 30-minute levels (12 minutes in the Turbo Flight). On the final day, blind levels are extended to 40 minutes. The German Poker Days are known for the fact that the final day, usually played on Monday at King’s Resort, is omitted, meaning not only poker skills but also poker stamina are required for a successful Main Event!

€199 GPD German Poker Days – Day 1C
196 players started in the third of the eight flights in the GPD Main Event. After late registration with 59 re-entries, it was determined that the top 39 would be in the money and the best 26 of those would reach the final. On the money bubble, two players were eliminated in the same hand at two different tables, so the €400 min-cash was split. Among the ITM finishers were 18 from the German-speaking region. Of these, 13 made the jump to Day 2.
A German trio consisting of Torben Steinig (804,000), Matthias Beu (880,000), and Bugra Ögretir (892,000) remained within striking distance of the €1,150 chipleader bonus until the end. However, with a narrow chip lead, it went to the Netherlands to Johannes van de Wiel, who finished as the Day 1C chipleader with 946,000 chips.
