“Fex” is among the winners in both GPD Side Events! Start of the Ceska Pokerova Tour in Prague!

In addition to the GPD Main Event flights, two side events were on the schedule at King’s Resort Rozvadov as part of the German Poker Days powered by GPD: the GPD NLH Morning Turbo and the GPD Friday Bounty. Meanwhile, at King’s Casino Prague, the Ceska Pokerova Tour powered by CPT entered its first starting day. The closed Growth Club Tournament was also held there.

€125 GPD NLH Morning Turbo

98 early birds and 18 re-entries at €125 each ensured that the €10k guarantee was broken, with a final prize pool of €12.180. This was divided among the top-18, starting with a €254 min-cash and originally ending with a 3.137 winner’s prize. A total of 14 ITM finishers came from German-speaking countries, 6 of whom made the leap to the final table.

The final table ended early after the bustouts of Daniel Sturm (€304), Portuguese King’s regular Igor Fonseca Brito (€350), Luan Kunz (€422), “S.M.W.” (€532), and finally Chen Loewy (€701).

Because the remaining quartet agreed on a deal that gave Bogdan Bogorin from Romania €1.696, “Fex” from the Netherlands €1.706, Fabian Holder from Germany €2.038, and the official winner and compatriot Rainer Auste €2.071.

€125 GPD Friday Bounty

For the evening GPD Friday Bounty with a €125 (€100 + €25 bounty) buy-in, some visitors had just arrived at King’s Pokerroom, while others returned to the tournament tables from the Morning Turbo. For 44 of the total 292 (247+45) entries, the GPD Friday Bounty ended in the €23.360 prize pool, which clearly exceeded the €15k guarantee.

6 Germans secured a seat at the final table, where they finished consecutively in ranks 8 to 3: “Tilly” went home with €503, €651 awaited “Heschdo”, “Brandloescher” can now buy fire or extinguishing water for €863, and Marcel Six received €1.172 for fifth place. When Tobias Budde had to give up his final table seat in fourth place with a €1.628 payout, the remaining players once again agreed on a split.

This provided €2.774 for Daniel Plünnecke from Germany and €3.525 for Roy Preminger from Israel. The largest share of the prize pool went to a familiar face from the GPD NLH Morning Turbo: “Fex” from the Netherlands not only made it to all final tables in King’s Pokerroom twice in one day but also made it into the final deal and onto the winner’s photo twice! This achievement was rewarded with €4.415 from the GPD Friday Bounty, following the €1.706 payout in the GPD NLH Morning Turbo!
