On the third of the 10 starting days of the €1.000.000 gtd. King’s Million, 171 entries joined the faster-paced Speed Flight at King’s Resort Rozvadov. By the end, 26 of them were at least €500 richer, and 18 still have the chance on Day 2 to find their way to the big pay jumps. While the €1.150 chipleader bonus went to Romania, a German quartet was able to find chip bags at their seats.

€1.000.000 gtd. King’s Million
The legendary King’s Million with its namesake €1.000.000 prize pool guarantee includes 10 starting days (9 flights 1A to 1I + 1 Flip and Go) and a total of 4 playing days. For the €250 buy-in, players receive 40.000 starting chips and 40 minutes of play per blind level, 30 in the Speed Flights. On Days 1A and 1B, there was even the opportunity to play 60-minute levels. There, the starting days, which were separate until Level 8 in Part 1, were merged in Part 2. For the top-5 of Day 1AB Part 2, there were 5 chipleader bonus packages of €3.000 each. Otherwise, €1.150 is provided as a chipleader bonus on every other regular playing day. 15% of each flight makes it in-the-money with a €500 min-cash. After that, play continues without further hand-for-hand play down to 10% of the flight participants, who then take their chips into Day 2. On Days 2, 3, and the final day, the blinds are 60 minutes long. For the top-10 in the final (Tue, 14:00), there will also be a €3.000 package each for the King’s Million European Poker Championship (KM EPC).

€250 King’s Million – Day 1C Speed
121 players entered the third of the ten starting days, taking another 50 re-entries during late registration. This meant that 26 (15%) of the 171 total entries landed ITM with a guaranteed €500 on their King’s Card, and 18 of them (10%) also made the jump to Day 2. For 7 Germans, KM Day 1A also literally paid off. 5 of them were able to bag their chips at the end. The chip bags of „Habibi“ and „KingsBaby“ were the fullest, with 517.000 and 551.000 chips respectively going into the bags.

Only Tibor Balogh from Hungary (661.000), the Romanian Victor Bejan (748.000), and his compatriot Vasile Creciun placed ahead of the German duo. Creciun was not only the only one to break the 100 BB barrier on Day 1C (the current starting level on Day 2 is 4k/8k-8k), but as the Day 1C chipleader, he could also look forward to the €1.150 chipleader bonus.
