The end of the poker week on Sunday at the Grand Casino As (GCA) also marked the end of the four-day NUTS Live Poker Cup (NLP) powered by Nuts Live Poker Stuttgart. 71 players entered the NLP Main Event to battle for the €60,000 guarantee, which was not met by the 589 entries. – In addition to the M.E. final, the closing event, the Nuts Showdown, was also decided.

€100+€20 NLP Main Event – Final
71 of the 589 entries had made it to the final after 4 starting days (1A to 1D) in the €100 Main Event. The €60,000 prize pool guarantee was narrowly missed, meaning the participants could enjoy a small €1,100 overlay and already €200 mincash each.
A good mix of Stuttgart NLP players, GCA regulars, and poker tourists made it to the final day. Among the most well-known names from the international regular clientele were certainly “Maful” (CZE, 56th, €220) or “Gabor 75” (HUN, 61st, €220). From the German-speaking contingent, we welcomed poker veterans Mike König (GER, 37th, €275), “MayoMan 558” (22nd, €365), or Georg Danzer (GER, 64th, €200) to the final.

At the final table, the top nine were already guaranteed €950. For the win, besides poker fame and the winner’s trophy, there was a planned payout of €11,165. The final table, well-mixed with players from 4 nations for GCA standards, also saw 5 German poker cracks take their seats.
The first to leave the final table under the cameras was Mario Baumann (GER, 9th, €950). After him, Rosario Russo (GER, 8th, €1,300) and GCA regular Dominik Martan (CZE, 7th, €1,780) headed to the cashier. “Wissi” (GER, 6th, €2,420) fought his way up to 6th place. The Pole “Kantoniusz” (POL, 5th, €3,260) placed one spot better. When Hans Schmidt (GER, 4th, €4,520), who had been fighting as a short stack ninja for a long time, busted, the remaining trio agreed on a deal.

Chip leader Davide Tezza (ITA/GER) then received €8,458. At the time of the deal, GCA regular Lukas Rychetsky had the second most chips, securing him a guaranteed €7,926, while the chips of short stack Björn Jansen were worth €7,920 at that point.
They left €400 three times together with the trophy for the winner in the pot. Here, Björn Jansen had to bury his title dreams first after the split. Among the 589 entries, the German finished in 3rd place.

Serienmeister Lukas Rychetsky went into heads-up with a 14:9.2 million chip lead. Before the final duel, the two agreed on another deal, securing them €600 each equally. Since, according to GCA regulations, 5% of the remaining prize pool must remain in the pot in trophy events, this further division did not appear in the official results. Thus, the tournament continued, and after all, there was still a NUTS trophy to be awarded.

The lead changed hands several times between the two, and just as the then-short Davide Tezza was all-in with a dominating hand, covered & called, poker fate had no mercy on him and ended the NLP Main Event for the German-Italian as runner-up with €9,060.

The victory, including €7,926 after the first deal and another €600 after the second deal, went to Lukas Rychetsky along with the NLP trophy. The Czech thus achieved his next success at the GCA, significantly expanding his bankroll by €8,526 and his trophy collection!

In the Nuts Showdown, unlike the Main Event, the guarantee was met. 81 players in the €60+€10 event with 39 re-entries created a €7,200 prize pool for the top 17. The ITM ranks were played with 50,000 starting chips in 15-minute levels. The min-cash was €108, a place at the final table was worth at least €205, and the win was €1,805.
Players from 4 nations finally sat at the final table, including 6 Germans. Of them, “Rudi Ratlos” cashed €310 in seventh place, GCA regular “Taubexx” went home with €374 in sixth place, “The Machine” cashed in fifth place for €446, and “Kaan Karakan” received €604 in fourth place.

A payout of €878 was celebrated by “Pay Day” in third place. In the heads-up, “Brudi”, one of the GCA leaderboard winners and WCOAP participants, faced the Pole “Chief”.
