After the SCOOP hump day, the halftime of the 136 tournaments, on Thursday, there was traditionally another rest day on Friday at the Spring Championship of Online Poker on PokerStars. For those who couldn’t keep their fingers off the mouse until the next match day, there were the SCOOP Side Events on the tournament schedule. Here, previously lesser-known players were able to showcase themselves. Of the 11 Side Events, two were won by German MTT players: “ppiillee” swallowed 1.330 competitors in the victory in the $4,40 NL08 HU ZOOM and the “cyberkanguru” rode to victory in the $$109 HORSE!

SCOOP Side Events on the Rest Day
The D-A-CH faction was able to reach 8 Final Tables on the rest day in the SCOOP Side Events, plus 3 Top-6 results in ZOOM. Twice, German players were the last ones sitting at the virtual tournament tables. While there were no trophies for this, there were decent payouts in the side events with moderate buy-ins.
The largest single cash with about $2.870 was secured by “cyberkanguru” with the title in the $109 HORSE. That was certainly a satisfaction just a few hours after narrowly missing the title as runner-up in the $109 Razz SCOOP Event (#62-M). Another title on Friday came from “ppiillee” along with a $525 winner’s prize. And that in an event in which PokerStars processed all game types and poker variables in the name, the $4,40 No Limit Omaha High/Low Heads-Up Turbo Progressive Total Knockout ZOOM Tournament.

To conclude the match day, there was another top result in ZOOM for the D-A-CH-L community in the $11 NLHE HU Turbo PTKO by “Cri990” in 6th place ($208).
