Seven of the original 199 entries were allowed to take a seat at the final table to determine the winner and winner of $1,125 million.
In total, $4.8 million could be paid out in this tournament after deducting fees, after the guarantee was narrowly missed.

The German Justin Steinbrenner went into the final as the chip leader, having stamped his mark on the tournament together with the Dutchman Nino Pansier.
