Cesar Garcia impressively won the $50k PLO Grand Slam of the Onyx High Roller Series at the Onyx Club in Malta. In addition, the 25k PLO Main Event continued.

50k PLO Grand Slam
Starting the final as the clear chip leader, the Spaniard brutalized his opponents with constant aggression and was able to celebrate a first prize of $1.2 million.
Austrian Filip Aleksic was in contention for the tournament victory for a long time, but then lost a huge pot to Gruffudd Pugh-Jones and had to settle for third place with a prize money of $555,000.
Welshman Pugh-Jones was even in the lead at times in the heads-up but then had to bow to Garcia and settle for $840,000.

25k PLO Main Event
The last two starting days of the 25k PLO Main Event were played yesterday.
A total of 145 entries were recorded, bringing the total participation to 199 entries.

The guarantee of $5 million was thus almost reached, but there is still the possibility to enter via Late Reg today.
Currently, 21 players have qualified, including Austrian Marcel Grubinger, who represented the DACH region yesterday.
The Italian Youness Barakat collected the most chips yesterday and will start Day 2 with 172 BB.
