Team CoinPoker is growing and growing

Team CoinPoker continues to grow. The CoinPoker Ambassadors around Mario Mosböck and Patrick Leonard, RYE head Benjamin “BenCB” Rolle, players like Tom “TomPokerNL” Talboom, Olivio “BigFat” Gontijo, or the CoinPoker Creator Squad around Corey Eyring, Frankie C, Ryan DePaulo were joined just a few days ago by the trio Johan “YoH ViraL” Guilbert, Mariano and Brantzen Poker, as well as Igor Picone. As an ambassador for the leading crypto poker platform, you are in the best company. This will be reinforced by at least one more big name by the Level Up on March 2, and for once, that doesn’t mean Jean-Robert Bellande – we can reveal that here!

Poker veteran JRB newest member in the crypto stable

The US high stakes icon Jean-Robert “JRB” Bellande announced today that he is a new member of the Team CoinPoker ambassador stable. Bellande, who grew up in Taiwan, has been a fixture in almost every high stakes TV show for a quarter of a century and has been competing in tournaments of all price ranges around the globe since 2001. The partnership with CoinPoker, the home of online high stakes, was certainly an obvious choice. At 55 years old, he brings a wealth of experience to the online poker room’s young team of poker ambassadors.

I’m excited to announce my partnership with @coinpoker_OFF, the world’s leading cryptocurrency poker platform. 🔥

— Jean-Robert Bellande (@BrokeLivingJRB) February 27, 2026

The well-wishers on his Twitter channel “BrokeLivingJRB” were quite prominent. His CoinPoker colleagues Johan “YoH ViraL” Guilbert, Gary “GazzyB” Blackwood, Bobby “BJP” James, and Mario Mosböck warmly welcomed him to the team, and CoinPoker founder Tony “Tony G” Guoga also took the opportunity to congratulate his long-time rival on this decision.

JRB’s Onyx title shocks the poker world

Bellande had traveled to Cyprus for the Onyx High Roller Series, mainly to wait for tournament players at the high stakes tables in the Onyx Club. Unexpectedly, he received a call in his hotel room from Rob Yong, whose arrival was delayed and who wanted to pass his seat in the $100.000 NLH High Roller to “JRB”. Bellande, also known as “BrokeLiving”, did not say no.

Among 50 of the best high rollers in the world, “JRB” eventually found himself heads-up against Rob Yong, who had made it into the $100k tournament after all. Ironically, not only was Yong happy to be sitting across from the American, but almost every one of the MTT cracks had expressed to the viewers that it would be an honor but also a very lucrative spot to sit across from the poker veteran. The passionate cash gamer has a reputation for being a rather below-average tournament player, which he apparently used to his advantage in the Onyx event. In the end, he was also able to defeat his “sponsor” Rob Yong in heads-up play, with whom he had also engaged in a trash-talk duel throughout the final table. Besides Bellande, Yong is also not known as a successful tournament player, leading “JRB” to suggest that the two could trigger a new Moneymaker boom at the Onyx HRS if the HR poker pros heard and saw that the two of them, of all people, had been sitting heads-up.

The victory in the $100k Onyx NLH High Roller event was worth $1.500.000 to Jean-Robert Bellande, which was by far his largest tournament cash and pushed his tournament lifetime winnings to over $4,5 million.

Jean-Robert Bellande with decades of experience in the poker biz

After studying marketing, Bellande worked as a promoter for various nightclubs and even opened his own in Los Angeles. There and in Las Vegas, which became his home, he came into contact with poker, which he has played regularly in tournaments and cash games since 2001.

“JRB” is a true all-rounder, as underlined by his numerous deep runs and tournament victories in various poker disciplines. He has reached final tables at the World Poker Classic, EPT, WPT, PCA, and several times at the WSOP and WSOPE. Unforgettable are his runner-up finish in the $1.500 Shootout in 2008, where he failed to convert a 19:1 chip lead into a bracelet, and also the second place in the 2015 $50.000 Poker Players Championship, where he achieved his highest pre-Onyx cash with $784.828 but had to leave the place in the history books to Mike Gorodinsky. In 2018, it was finally time for Jean-Robert Bellande when he finally won the coveted bracelet in the $5.000 NLH 6-Max event of the WSOP among 621 entries, also winning $616.302, which he equates with his recent success at the Onyx High Roller Series.

Also known as “Action Bob”, Bellande is a welcome but much-feared guest in high stakes cash games around the world. In addition to his fame in poker, he received a lot of attention for his participation in the 15. season of the reality TV series “Survivor” in 2007, where he finished in 9. place.

“JRB” and “YoH ViraL” meet at Radio ViraL

Just a few days before signing the contract, Jean-Robert Bellande met with neo-CoinPoker pro Johan “YoH ViraL” Guilbert at the Merit Hotel in Cyprus. There, the American was a guest on Guilbert’s podcast format “Radio ViraL”. The 55-year-old answered questions about his Onyx High Roller Series victory, which was surprising to many, and shared stories from the inner circle of super high rollers. Among other things, JRB brought up stories about Tom Dwan and other colleagues.
