On Tuesday, Day 1C, the third of four starting days, was played at the Italian Poker Sport IPS €1.5MILLION Festivals powered by euroRounders at King’s Resort Rozvadov in the IPS €1.5MILLION Mystery Bounty Event. With 181 entries, the total participation reached 331 before the final Turbo Flight 1D. This means it looks like the €100,000 guarantee will be met. The million mark was broken in Flight 1C by chip leader Sebastian Kotowicz, who also grabbed the €1,150 chip leader bonus!

€250 IPS €1.5MILLION Mystery Bounty – Day 1C
With 120 participants, Day 1C was the best-attended flight in the IPS Mystery Bounty Event so far. In addition to the €250 buy-in (€150 + €100 bounty), there were 61 re-entries, bringing the total entries on Day 1C to 181. As in all other flights, the best 15% were to finish ITM, which, according to Adam Rieß, was 29 players on Tuesday. Six Germans managed to secure the min-cash of €150 on their King’s Card.
In the Mystery Bounty Event, play is reduced to 12.5% of the flight participants without further hand-for-hand play on each starting day, who then find chip bags for the final day at their seats. This was granted to 5 Germans. Benjamin Altun and Christian Lang bagged 219,000 and 269,000 chips respectively, finishing 16th and 15th in the 1C chip count. IPS opener chip leader “Libero5” dribbled to 380,000 chips for 12th place, and “Rip Wheeler” reached 402,000 chips for 8th place in the interim standings.

Their compatriot “Asso” fought for the top positions and managed to place one chip ahead of Martin Zeman (SVK, 677,000) in the day’s standings. However, this millimeter decision in favor of “Asso” did not help the German win the €1,150 chip leader bonus. That was secured by the Pole Sebastian Kotowicz with an impressive stack of 1,234,000 chips, well over the million mark. The runner-up of the EPF Main Event thus goes into today’s Mystery Bounty final (5:00 PM) as the monster chip leader, unless someone from the final IPS €1.5M Mystery Bounty Day 1D Turbo (12:00 PM) overtakes him.
