Whether it’s Fastnacht, Fasching, or Karneval, all of Europe celebrates the peak of the “Fifth Season” in mid-February. “Fasnacht” is also celebrated in the Principality of Liechtenstein. Carnival Weekend at GCLI
The team at GC Pokerroom Bendern is known for not missing any holidays and always offering its players the right special format. Fasnacht is no exception, quite the contrary: This year, from February 13th to 15th, the Carnival Weekend will take place to match the occasion. A total of at least 25,000 CHF is guaranteed across 3 tournaments! The festival’s motto “Fasnacht. Masks. High Stakes.” suggests that both the buy-in and the prize money will ensure an exciting field of participants and tournament action!

The jesters will enter the GC Pokerroom Bendern with the Carnival Opener on Friday. The cards will be in the air from 5:00 PM. The buy-in is 120+20 CHF, and the guaranteed prize pool is 8,000 Swiss Francs. With 30,000 starting chips, the game will proceed with 30-minute levels. The re-entry option is available for 9 levels.
The Carnival Masquerade Tournament on Saturday at 3:00 PM, with a buy-in of 160+20 CHF and a guaranteed prize pool of 12,000 Swiss Francs, has the highest buy-in and the largest prize pool. With 40,000 starting chips, the masked tournament will be played a bit deeper. The blind levels are 30 minutes long, and re-entries can be taken during the first 9 levels.

The conclusion of the “Fifth Season” at the Grand Casino Liechtenstein will be marked by the Carnival Joker Tournament. As on the previous day, the action at the GCLI tables will kick off at 3:00 PM. The buy-in here is 90+10 CHF. In return, you’ll get 30,000 starting stacks and 25 minutes of play per level. Late registration is also open here for 9 levels for latecomers and re-entries. The guaranteed prize pool is at least 5,000 CHF!
