At the Grand Casino Aš (GCA), two more starting days of the €150 GI Main Event were held yesterday, Saturday, as part of the Gaming Institute Festival. Additionally, a PLO event was on the tournament schedule.

€150 GI Main Event – Day 1B & 1C Turbo (€60.000 GTD)

After Day 1A brought 131 entries to the clock on Friday, a total of 250 more entries were added through the two starting days yesterday.

Day 1B attracted 125 players to the tables, who paid for an additional 47 re-entries. 35 players survived the day for today’s final at 14:00, led by a player with the nickname ‘Maksym‘ with 591.000 chips.

On Day 1C, there were another 78 entries (59 plus 19 re-entries). 20 players survived here, and it was the player Sibylle Christen who was able to bag the most chips for the final.

Thus, we are now at a total of 381 entries and a current prize pool of €49.530. With one remaining Hyper Turbo starting day today at 10:00, it could be close with the guarantee.

€100 PLO Event (€5.000 GTD)

56 players took their seats at the tables in the GCA Pokerroom 2.0 for the 4-card event and also paid for 17 re-entries. This resulted in a prize pool of €6.205 and thus a clearly broken guarantee.

Twelve players received a share of it, led by the two players Eugen Strobel (DE) and Gheorghe Canepa (ROM), who each collected €1.445 after a heads-up deal.

Today, the GCA Pokerroom continues with the mentioned last starting day of the €130+20 GI Main Event at 10:00. The final then runs at 14:00, and at the same time, the last side event of the series starts with the €60+10 Deepstack Turbo with a €5.000 guarantee.
