Four to Six – “Peter Small Blind” successful from all positions in the PLO Warm-Up, “Shorty” wins the 3k!

#On Thursday, the Grand Casino As (GCA) offered a double tournament program. At the casino on the German-Czech border, the Four to Six Festival powered by Soulex was launched with the Warm Up (PLO4). For all NLH players, the classic Thursday 3k took place in parallel. This allowed players not only to enjoy two title awards in two disciplines but also to benefit from small overlays in both tournaments.

Classic Week: €60 Thursday 3k (NLH)

In the classic Thursday 3k, 38 players started for a buy-in of €53+€7, with 17 re-entries during the Late Registration phase. The total of 55 entries was not enough to break the namesake 3k guarantee. Thus, the participants could enjoy an €85 overlay and the top 9 received payouts.

Once again, the Ukrainian GCA regular “Lucky777UA” secured a podium finish, earning €450 for 3rd place at the cashier. Runner-up in a deal was Plein from Germany, who received €735 as the second-place winner. The Thursday 3k victory went to his compatriot “Shorty,” who also showed his skills as the big stack. This was rewarded with the bragging rights for the tournament win and an €800 prize.

Four to Six: €100 Warm Up (PLO4)

Omaha specialists had long been looking forward to the start of the Four to Six Festival, where PLO4, PLO5, and PLO6 were played. The kickoff was the PLO4 Warm Up, which could be entered for €85+€15. Fifty-four participants took part, receiving 30,000 chips and 20 minutes of playtime per level. During the Late Registration, 38 re-entries were made, resulting in 92 total entries. With a guaranteed €10,000 prize pool on Thursday, they enjoyed a substantial overlay of €2,180.

The top 13 made it into the money, including several GCA regulars. The final table featured “Juice” (ROU, €285), Frederico Loiacono (ITA, €375), “Gedas” (LTU, €485), and once again GCA regular “Brudi” (GER, €605). “RoyalSash” (SRB, €740) finished 5th, and “BallerÜmit” (GER) collected €990 for 4th place. The experienced winner “Taubexx” (GER) landed on the podium for €1,370. After his elimination, the heads-up duo agreed on a deal, awarding “Liverpool K.” (GER) €2,000 as runner-up. The Four to Six Festival’s opening winner was “Peter Small Blind,” who showed in the PLO Warm Up that he can succeed not only from the SB. His performance was rewarded with a €2,390 prize.
