The mixed week at Grand Casino As (GCA) continued on Friday with Classic Friday and Day 1A of the PLO Main Event. The mix of Classic Week and Four to Six Festival powered by Soulex brings both No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha players to the tournament tables of the Bohemian casino.

Four to Six PLO Main Event – Day 1a
In the first of three starting days of the PLO Main Event, 66 participants registered for the €300+€40 buy-in. Although the event started with extremely deep 200,000 starting stacks, 46 re-entries were needed within the first 10 of the 30-minute levels. At the end of the day, 11 survivors found chip bags for the final (Sun, 14:00) at their seats.
The most successful player on Friday was “HAUI” with 4 cards in hand. He brought it to 4,875,000 chips in the final level 20k/40k-40k. Behind him, “TWO GUN TOMMY” also needed both hands to fill his chip bag with 3,940,000 chips. “THOR2311” was the third player who managed to bag above the average (2,036,364). Instead of lightning, he was able to shove 3,240,000 chips into his bag.

Classic Friday
In the 7k Friday of the Classic Week, 75 players paid the entry fee of €60+€10 and took 33 re-entries during the late registration. This narrowly missed the namesake 7k guarantee. With a €520 overlay in play, the top 17 could look forward to prize money. The German guests were, as always, the strongest represented, but six different nations were to land in the top positions.
The biggest shares of the prize pool were secured by a quartet in the end. After the bustout of “Frantisek” (UKR, 5th, €465), the remaining four agreed on an ICM deal. This awarded “Hugo” (AUT, 4th) €1,052, Tobias Dankemeier (GER, 3rd) cashed out €1,055, and GCA regular “Gabor75” (HUN, 2nd) was able to add €1,109 to his steadily growing GCA bankroll. However, the victory on Friday was not to be taken from “Miruska.” The Czech MTT specialist once again left the entire male competition behind and was able to secure her next tournament win and a €1,194 payout.
