Fridays are traditionally a rest day at the PokerStars SCOOP (Spring Championship of Online Poker). However, that doesn’t mean no poker is played there. For those who don’t want to get out of their grind routine, the online poker room traditionally has a few SCOOP Side Events ready. In the 5 SEs, each held in 2 buy-in tiers, the D-A-CH community was able to celebrate one victory, while all-rounder Nico “NicoBoko” Bokowski came very close to another.

8-Game (6-Max)
In 8-Game, the all-rounders were in action. Here, the poker regulars from the Bavarian capital were able to make their mark, including “MunichAce” (34./618) and the (poker) DJ “Muppinger” (25./610). However, the best D-A-CH result in the Low Tier was achieved by a Swiss player, “Kackvogu“, in rank 4 ($504).
In the $215 edition, 3 Germans landed at the final table and in the top-4: “bolm” finished fourth for $1.517, all-rounder Nicolas Bokowski aka “NicoBoko” finished third among the 79 entries for $2.207, and “Myschkin_Lev” missed out on the win by a very narrow margin, but hopefully was able to console themselves with the $3.209 payout.

NLHE (6-Max, Mystery Bounty, Win the Button)
In the Win-the-Button event, “drehenberger” finished fourth in the $11 edition among 6.505 entries for $1.532+$205. Things went even better for “Cashkiller77“, who cashed for $3.155+$102 as runner-up.
In the more expensive $109 event, it was “Jacky#2” and “tuffael” in ranks 6 ($953+$1.565) and 5 ($1.359+$2.615) who reached the final table from the D-A-CH region.

PL Courchevel H/L (6-Max PKO)
In the $16,50 PL Courchevel, two German-speaking tournament pros again reached the FT: “OneH1tWonder” collected $237+$99 as 5. out of 8181, while “Eisblock1” placed one rank higher, which was rewarded with $340+$198.
In the $162 edition, it was poker veteran “Bremen82” who collected $273+$112 for finishing 7. out of 86.
