After a few days off, Day 1C of the IPS Italian Poker Sport 1.5MILLION Main Event powered by euroRounders continued on Sunday after Day 1A/B. Participants at the King’s Resort Rozvadov had three goals in mind: surviving the money bubble with a €750 min-cash, advancing to Day 2 with their chips, and for the particularly ambitious, the €1,150 chip leader bonus at the end of the day!

IPS Italian Poker Sport €1.5MILLION Main Event
The IPS Italian Poker Sport Main Event offers a chance at a prize pool of at least €1.5 million. The buy-in is only €380, which gets you 50,000 starting chips and 40-minute levels (30 minutes in the Speed, 12 minutes in the Turbo Flights). From Day 2 onwards, the blind levels will be extended to 60 minutes. Late registration is open for latecomers and allows up to 2 re-entries per flight and player for 10 levels. The IPS M.E. spans a total of 4 playing days.
There are a total of nine starting days plus a Flip & Go for the tournament. €1.5 million is guaranteed, and the top 10 players will receive a €3,000 tournament ticket package for the King’s Million European Poker Championship in the fall. 15% of players in the starting days will be ITM with a min-cash of €750, and 12.5% will advance to Day 2 on Sunday, February 8th.

IPS Italian Poker Sport €1.5MILLION – Day 1C Speed
111 players started the Speed Flight 1C with 30-minute blind levels. During the 10 levels of late registration, 31 re-entries were purchased. Of the 142 total entries, 22 were set to make the money on Day 1C, including 8 from Germany. After the money bubble burst, play continued down to the top 12.5%, who would bag their chips for Day 2. This was the case for 17 players, including 7 Germans.
The top three German-speaking qualifiers finished in ranks 6 to 8, separated by just one chip: Armin Kolasinac (402,000), “Skibtz” (401,000), and Ulrich Meissl (400,000) will be back for Day 2 with their stacks. This also applies to Mark Hollo (HUN) and Robert Marcu (ROU), who finished the flight in the podium positions with stacks of 580,000 and 504,000, respectively. However, “JULIO” from Spain was far ahead, bagging nearly triple the chips. With 1,455,000 chips bagged and the associated €1,150 chip leader bonus, the Spaniard will likely have slept the best.
After Day 1c, a total of 495 entries have been recorded, and 61 players have already qualified for Day 2. A total of 75 participants have made it into the money so far.
