At the m Community Poker Festival (CPF) powered by GRND Live & HansiMania, the Crazy Pineapple and Chaos Bounty tournaments were decided yesterday at the Grand Casino Liechtenstein (GCLI). Both side events were very well attended and brought together many familiar faces at the tournament tables in the GC Pokerroom Bendern. In addition, Day 1D of the Main Event was played, from which a devilishly good player emerged as the chip leader.
120 CHF: Crazy Pineapple
The game with 3 hole cards was not missed by 54 players on Friday. For the buy-in of 105+15 CHF, there were 12 re-entries, breaking the 5k guarantee and resulting in 6,930 Swiss francs in the pot for the top 8. 270 CHF was planned as the min-cash, 2,070 as the prize for the winner.
Whether crazy or not, the players at the final table agreed on a deal twice. Already at the final table and thus without hand-for-hand play, there was a bubble deal where 150 CHF was taken from the prize pool. The second deal was made after “JR” (GER) was eliminated in 4th place with a payout of 730 CHF. The remaining trio split the payouts according to ICM, so that third place Guido Hess (SUI) received 1,240 CHF, runner-up “StahlBetonSuhr” (GER) 1,490 CHF, and the official winner Dieter Fink (AUT) 1,680 CHF.

120 CHF: Chaos Bounty
The GCLI is familiar with Chaos Bounty tournaments, having already hosted a small festival for it last year. The chaotic knockout tournament with unpredictable bounties was the Friday afternoon activity for 55 players starting at 3:00 PM. For a buy-in of 55+15+50 (Bounty) CHF, there were 20 rebuys during late registration, resulting in 4,125 CHF for the top 9 in the regular prize pool and 3,750 CHF for bounty hunters in the bounty pool. The min-cash was set at 120, and the winner’s prize at 1,200 Swiss francs.
In front of the running GRND on Tour cameras, a D-A-CH trio landed on the podium: Austrian Tammo Franke collected 560 CHF from the regular prize pool as third place, in addition to the bounties won. German runner-up Sascha Schleinitz received 870 CHF plus the bounties. Apparently, “Super Rappi” handled the chaos best. Our Swiss colleague was able to collect the 1,200 CHF winner’s prize in addition to the bounties he collected and defended.

250 CHF: CPF Main Event – Day 1D
On the fourth of the six Main Event starting days, a total of 118 players wanted to make it to the final (Sun, 14:00). In the attempt, 48 re-entries were used. Of the 166 total entries on Day 1D, 20 were to make the cut. It took until level 10k/20k-20k to bag the chips won.
Among the players we will see again in the final on Sunday were many well-known names from GCLI regulars and also those who traveled especially for the CPF. The poker ladies were strongly represented among the qualifiers. For example, Yana Portmann (SUI, 181,000), “Charlene” (GER, 254,000), Sava Krink (GER, 262,000), “DAMAGE” (LIE, 360,000), or “Claudia62” (SUI, 540,000) bagged chips for Day 2. The fullest chip bag on Day 1D also belonged to a woman. “Mrs. Devil” was able to break the million mark and bag an impressive 1,352,000 chips. The big stack game seems to run in her diabolical family, so we will see and hear her again in the coming days in the GC Pokerroom.
