As part of the Pirates‘ Poker Treasure (PPT) powered by euroRounders, in addition to the decisions in the Peter Love & Sir James Lancaster events, another starting day was played in the Blackbeard Mystery Bounty Main Event. With Day 1D, the fourth of the ten starting days (9 flights + 1 Flip and Go) was on the tournament schedule at King’s Resort Rozvadov. A total of 174 entries did not want to miss the chance for the guaranteed €1.5M prize pool with a €480 buy-in.

€480 Pirates‘ Poker Treasure Blackbeard Mystery Bounty – Day 1D Speed
On Thursday, 124 players went hunting for at least the guaranteed €1,500,000 prize pool, who bought another 50 re-entries for the buy-in of €330+€150 (Bounty). With 174 total entries, it was clear that on Thursday 27 (15%) would make the money with a guaranteed €600 min-cash and 22 would advance to Day 2 (Sun, 5:00 PM). With 60,000 starting chips, the 30-minute speed levels began for the raid.
At level 17 with blinds 8,000/16,000-16,000, with the elimination of “HarisPilton” and Anaras Alexberovas, the 22 Day 2 qualifiers were determined. Seven German-speaking pirates had secured their spots among them. Among them were two very well-known MTT crushers, Andreas Eller (GER, 392,000) and Konstantinos Nanos (GER/GRE, 424,000). The best German on Day 1D was “THEISENFROST” with 622,000 chips, the best Swiss “Blue Duck” with 813,000 chips. Between the two was “Zigigi” (GEO) with 716,000 chips.
The battle for the chip lead and thus for a €1,150 bonus in King’s Main Event tournament tickets was fought between Prela Niki from Croatia and Kamel Marzouk from France – and that at the same table. In the end, Niki took 2nd place in the daily standings with 910,000 chips, while Marzouk not only broke the million mark with 1,011,000 chips but also collected the chip leader bonus as Day 1D chip leader.
