The main focus on the penultimate day of the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) 2026 at King’s Casino Prague was on the final 17 in the €8.400 GG Million$ High Roller Event. At the end of Day 2 of the 3-day event on Friday, 17 of the 359 entries were still able to bag chips for the grand finale. They were each guaranteed €23.000 from the €2.872.000 prize pool, but for the victorious high roller, not only a massive €600.000 winner’s prize awaited, but also 2 awards: the WSOPE Bracelet #13 and the GGMillion$ Trophy. The chip leader after Day 2 was the American Jake Greenbaum; German-speaking players were no longer part of the action at the Hilton Prague Atrium.

WSOPE Event #13: €8.400 GGMillion$ High Roller – Day 3
17 of the 351 direct entries and 8 satellite qualifiers returned to the tables at the Hilton Atrium Prague on Saturday, which had moved from the large tournament hall on the ground floor two floors up to the Ballroom. The line-up in the GGMillion$ High Roller Event remained impressive on the final day. Among others, Mustapha Kanit, Mehdi Chaoui, Boris Kolev, Mike Watson, and Punnat Punsri were still playing for the two trophies.
The ranks thinned quickly on the way to the final table, due to the advanced blinds, aggressive playing styles, or setups, such as the one that befell Mustapha Kanit with Queens against Aces. The unequal card battle against Zackary Estes would end for Mustapha Kanit in 15th place (€27.000).
The fact that a final table is something special even for highly decorated high rollers was particularly evident during the two-hour final table bubble. Despite dozens of all-ins, no one was eliminated with 10 players left, before big stack Yuliyan Kolev (€33.060) lost all his chips in a sequence of four hands to Canadian high roller icon Mike Watson, who was thus able to take his seat at the final table as chip leader.

Mehdi Chaoui was the first to leave the final table (€42.000), having reached it with only one big blind. Crypto influencer Jake Greenbaum (€54.000) followed him to the rails. To everyone’s great surprise, FT chip leader Mike Watson (€71.000) also found himself there in 7th place. The Triple Crown champion first ran with Queens into the Kings of Christian Pedersen and was then dominated by the better Ace of Zackary Estes.
By winning the massive hand against Watson, the momentum at the final table had clearly shifted to the Dane Pedersen. Just a few hands later, he ensured that the title hopes of Mario Diaz Quilez (€95.000) and then Zackary Estes (€131.000) were shattered, as well as those of Belarusian HR regular Aliaksei Boika (€185.000).
Thai poker superstar Punnat Punsri secured his place in heads-up play by eliminating Miroslav Alilovic (€270.000) in 3rd place. This pitted the 6-time Triton Series champion against the Dane Pedersen, who had only cashed once before at a WSOP and had never won a major tournament in his life. Even though the heads-up match became open again in terms of chips due to a double-up by Punsri, yesterday, Saturday, was clearly Christian Pedersen’s day. The second all-in-and-call, also a 50:50 flip, eventually went in favor of the Dane, who thus won his first major title and €600.000, while €400.000 went to runner-up Punsri.
