
The Main Event of the €300,000 GTD Card Poker Series at Card Casino Samorin (formerly Card Casino Bratislava) saw not only the last two flights (1J and the Flip&Go) but also 156 of the impressive 1,367 entries go into the €250 Main Event and play for €341,750. The best 16 were to make it into today’s live-streamed final with their chips. – On Sunday, the decision was also made in the €200 Mystery Bounty Event.

€250 Card Poker Series €300,000 GTD Main Event
In the Main Event of the Card Poker Series, with a buy-in of €250 (15% fee), a fantastic €300,000 is guaranteed in the prize pool. To play your way into the top 12.5% and thus into Day 2 (Sunday, 5:00 PM), you had the opportunity on ten starting days and two Flip&Go days.
In addition, multiple qualifications were rewarded: those who made it to Day 2 twice received €1,000, for the third qualification there was another €2,000, and those who managed to get into Day 2 four times received an additional €5,000.
For the first time, online qualifications for the Card Poker Series Main Event were also offered, which took place daily at 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM for Slovak players and at 7:30 PM for players in the Czech Republic on synortip Poker.

In total, we now have 1,261 entries and collected buy-ins of €315,250 (before deduction of fees). The guarantee should therefore only be a formality with one remaining starting day and one Flip & Go.

€250 Card Poker Series ME – Day 1J Hyper
The last regular starting day in the Card Poker Series Main Event saw another 74 entries. 7 of them managed to survive until the end of the hyper-turbo flight for the first or extra-rewarded repeat qualification. Emil Trenkov (BUL) was the most successful, becoming the Day 1J chip leader with 1,682,000 chips. Vaclav Drbal (CZE) finished directly in his slipstream in 2nd place with 1,642,000, and Gejza Takacs (SVK) took third place in the starting day standings with 1,269,000 chips. No one from the D-A-CH region managed to qualify for the continuation of the Main Event through the Hyper flight.

€250 Card Poker Series ME – Day 1 Flip&Go
The very last chance to get into Day 2 of the Main Event was the Flip&Go. Four 8-max auto-all-in SnGs were played on Sunday, from which 3 players each took 800,000 chips into the subsequent Day 2. There were no German-speaking players among them.

The Main Event Day 2 of the 3-day event, which started at 5:00 PM, had it all. Of the 171 qualifiers, several had qualified multiple times and received the corresponding bonuses. 151 Day 2 starters emerged from the Main Event with at least €510. Among them were 17 from Austria and 2 from Germany.

The German-speaking chip leaders of starting days 1G and 1I, Asko Muratovic (AUT) and Konstantinos Nanos (GER/GRE), were eliminated somewhat earlier than expected in 55th place (€1,020) and 66th place (€780). However, Boris Urosevic (AUT) had a real deep run, which only ended in 19th place. The Austrian received €1,990 at the cash desk.
Two of his compatriots did even better. With the elimination of Romanian Gabriel Otescu, they were among the best 16 to pack their chip bags for today’s final. Tay Hyong Kim is promisingly in the running in 7th place with 6,875,000 chips. With an eight-figure stack of 12,600,000 chips, his compatriot Josef Ahmed even managed to rank among the top 3 before the final.
Ahead of the Austrian are only Victor Ciorean from Romania with 19,575,000 chips and the local hero and simultaneous mega chip leader Erik Seffer. The Slovak goes into the live-streamed final with an incredible 28,600,000 chips, which he was able to build from his 100,000 starting stack.








€200 Mystery Bounty
In addition to the Card Poker Series Main Event, the €200 Mystery Bounty was also started and played to completion. 160 entries created €16,000 in the bounty prize pool and €16,000 in the regular prize pool. The latter was to be split among the top 20.
Two Austrians also finished in the money, of whom Patrik Maris, in 10th place (€3,930), cashed in the really big mystery bounties, but ultimately became the bubble boy of the final table. His compatriot Alexander Geischläger made it to the final table. In combination of collected mystery bounties and the regular payout, the Austrian ultimately collected €2,200 in 4th place.
Gil Arenstein finished on the podium ahead of him. The Israeli received €2,785 for this achievement. In the heads-up, it was about the biggest amounts, which were partly hidden behind the last two bounties. Luca Vlasceanu ultimately became the runner-up in the Mystery Bounty Event. However, with €6,890, he achieved the largest payout. The winner was Zsolt Balog from Hungary, who, in addition to the tournament success, was able to enjoy a combined prize money of €5,340.
