A massive 64 entries saw the poker week at the Grand Casino Liechtenstein (GCLI) conclude with the Sunday Megastack. In the end, the decision for the tournament victory in the GC Pokerroom resulted in an Austrian-Swiss deal, and it was split equally!
130 CHF Sunday Megastack
51 players started the Sunday Megastack at 3 PM for a buy-in of 110+20 CHF. During late registration, 13 re-entries were added, all starting with 60,000 chips and playing 20-minute levels. The 5k guarantee was clearly surpassed, with 7,040 CHF played for the top 8. The min-cash was planned at 280 CHF, and the winner’s prize at 2,110 Swiss Francs.
As is often the case, an agreement was reached on a bubble deal before reaching the ITM ranks. Even a double deal on the soft bubble, which conveniently ended the hand-for-hand play at the last two 5-handed tables.
At rank 8, “Austria” from Austria finished the tournament with 280 CHF. At rank 7, Thomas Ackermann (SUI) received 360 CHF. After him, “DJ” (SUI) finished sixth for 450 CHF, Jure Hrup (SUI) fifth for 575 CHF, and Roland Oswald (SUI) fourth for 745 CHF payout before heading to the cashier. When Marco Magisano (ITA) busted in third place with a 990 CHF payout, the Sunday Megastack was also over.

The heads-up pairing agreed to an Even Deal, securing both the official runner-up “Phil K.” (AUT) and the winner on paper, Radim Divis (SUI), 1,670 CHF each.
