Also 6 German-speaking players fought in the Triton Series event for a seat and the pay jumps in the $3.311.244 prize pool. From this, $586.000 awaits the winner, and as is common in the sponsored opener event, 2 trophies!

Event #1: $3.000 QQPK Genesis – Day 2
In a marathon session, the 197 players on Day 2, who were all in-the-money with at least $4.500, were whittled down to the final 9!
Of the 6 D-A-CH players, Roland Rokita (AUT) was the first to leave the QQPK Genesis in 188th place ($4.500). One pay jump above him, Samuel Mullur (AUT) followed in 176th place ($4.700), Jooshua Gebissa finished 116th ($6.000), and shortly after, Konstantin Held was eliminated in 111th place ($6.000). Stephan Hartjes (GER) showed a convincing performance over two days, which was rewarded with 97th place ($6.000). The best German-speaking player was Martin Sedlak, who finished 67th ($8.000) among the 1.236 entries.
Day 2 also saw the end for international poker celebrities in the $3.000 QQPK Genesis. Stephen Song took 175th place ($4.700), Rayan „Beriuzy“ Chamas was 163rd ($4.700), Thomas Eychenne finished 127th ($5.200), Johannes Straver took 94th place ($7.000), Kiat Lee finished the event in 79th ($7.000), Biao Ding was 58th ($8.000), and Felipe Ketzer left the tournament in 30th place ($13.500).

Coming close to the final table were Martin Nielsen from Denmark, who was stopped in 17th place ($25.000), and Ren Lin from China, who narrowly missed the final day as a fan favorite in 15th place ($29.000). Boris Kolev from Bulgaria also came close to the final table in 13th place ($33.000). The FT bubble finally burst when Frenchman Paul Tedeschi was eliminated in 10th place ($37.000).
The final nine each have $44.000 secured, with $586.000 going to the winner. Except for the Frenchwoman Thi Xoa Nguyen, all finalists come from Asia. In addition to Nguyen, Chunnuan Xu is another woman at the final table. Local hero Huu Dung Nguyen will enter the final as chip leader with 82.300.000 chips, or 82 big blinds. The shortest stack is the second Vietnamese at the final table, Nang Quuang Nguyen with 5.600.000 chips, which corresponds to just 6 BBs.
