On Friday, the first decision was made at Triton ONE in Jeju, specifically in the $2k NLH Bounty Quattro 1-Day Event. No German-speaking players were involved in the title decision in this Triton Series event, but after the 4 starting days of the opening event, the $3.000 QQPK Genesis, which is traditionally held in cooperation with an online poker room, there are still 6 German-speaking players in the running.

Event #1: $3.000 QQPK Genesis – Day 1C & 1D
1.236 entries in the QQPK Genesis meant not only a record field in a Triton ONE opening event, but also $3.311.244 in the prize pool for the top 197. The min-cash is set at $4.500, and the winner’s prize will be $586.000. On Day 2 of Triton ONE, the last two starting days, 1C and 1D, were played.
After the completion of the starting days, 6 German-speaking players have qualified for Day 2 and are therefore already ITM: Joshua Gebissa was joined by Roland Rokita, Samuel Mullur, Konstantin Held, Steohan Hartjes and Martin Sedlak.
The D-A-CH sextet will be joined by well-known players such as Johannes Straver (NED), Boris Kolev (BUL), Felipe Ketzer (GRA), Paul Tedeschi (FRA) or Ren Lin.

Event #2: $2.000 One Night NLH Bounty Quattro
119 entries had paid the $2.000 buy-in and, after deducting all charges and fees, created a prize pool of $220.388. The top 20 were to finish in the regular prize pool, with payouts ranging from $2.100 to $38.500. In addition, bounties of $2.000 each were awarded starting from the point when the field reached its final quarter.
The decision for the title was made almost exclusively among players from Asian countries. In the end, the two most industrious bounty hunters faced each other in heads-up play. After 10 successful takeouts, Cheung Chung Ching finished in the runner-up spot, which meant an additional $26.2000 regular payout for the player from Hong Kong on top of the $20.000 in bounties. He only had to give way to China’s Renjie Ding, who collected 6 bounties and defended his own. Together with the $38.500 winner’s prize, he achieved a combined payout of $52.500.
