The Winter Poker Series on win2day returns from February 6th to 8th. Over 3 days, at least €200,000 in prize money awaits online poker players in Austria across 17 tournaments! You should keep these days free from 6:00 PM (Sunday from 5:00 PM) for the online poker festival.

16 different 1-Day Events
5 one-day events per day (6 on Sunday), plus a two-day multi-flight event with 4 starting days, await Austrian online poker players from February 6th to 8th. The 16 one-day tournaments offer something for every bankroll: buy-ins range from €10 (rebuy tournaments) to €100 (in the Main Event), and for players with a larger bankroll, there’s also a Highroller event for a €250 buy-in. The guarantees are also attractive, ranging from €2,000 up to €30,000. And it’s not just No-Limit Hold’em being played; each of the 3 WPS days also features a Pot-Limit Omaha tournament on the schedule.
The WPS comes with 5 Main Events
The Main Events don’t all run concurrently. Instead, the Winter Poker Series features at least one Main Event per day. Kicking things off on Friday at 7:00 PM is the €20,000 Friday KO Main Event with a €100 buy-in. The Main Event at prime time on Saturday evening at 7:00 PM is the €30,000 Main Event, with a €100 buy-in. Just half an hour later, at 7:30 PM, the €5,000 Omaha Main Event starts with a €50 buy-in. Main tournaments also take place on Sunday. At 7:00 PM, the €20,000 Rebuy Main Event begins, with a €30 buy-in and rebuy. At 7:30 PM, the €20,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event takes place, where you can hunt for prize money and bounties for a €100 buy-in.
High Rollers are also catered for
One of the latest additions to the tournament schedules of the win2day online poker series is the Highroller Event. The Winter Poker Series also caters to larger bankrolls. On Sunday at 7:00 PM, you can play in the €20,000 Highroller Tournament for a €250 buy-in, with a guaranteed minimum of €20k in a more manageable field size.
The Multi-Flight Event with 4 Starting Days and €20,000 Guarantee
If you want to play over 2 days with an excellent structure against the largest possible field, the Flight Tournament is perfect for you. The buy-in is €50 on all Day 1s. Starting Days 1A to 1D of the Flight Tournament take place on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM, and on Sunday at 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM. All survivors will then qualify for the €20,000 Flight Day 2 on Sunday at 8:00 PM, where the Winter Poker Series concludes with the 17th and final tournament decision.

The consolation prize for Bubble Boy/Bubble Girl
It’s particularly painful to be eliminated on the bubble in such a large tournament. As a consolation prize, win2day is giving the player busting on the bubble a €20 ticket for Twister!
The Satellites
Numerous satellites can be found in the PC client under the “Highlights” tab and then under “€ 200,000 Winter Poker Series”. In the Win-a-Ticket system, there are no longer specific tickets for a tournament; instead, all equivalent tickets are valid for the tournament. Tickets can also be won through the PLX format.

You can also easily win a ticket through Poker Lotto Extreme (PLX) tournaments without needing to be at your PC, smartphone, or tablet. In PLX (Poker Lotto Extreme) tournaments, the tournament runs automatically, and you don’t need to be online to win the ticket.
