On Tuesday, the €300,000 gtd. Card Poker Series kicked off at the Card Casino Samorin (formerly Card Casino Bratislava). On the first of ten starting days, not only 18 spots for Day 2 were awarded, but also €6,000 in chip leader bonuses for the top 3. In the international starting field, two Austrians were also able to successfully complete Day 1A.

Card Poker Series €300,000 gtd. Main Event
At the Main Event of the Card Poker Series, with a buy-in of €250 (15% fee), a whole €300,000 is guaranteed in the prize pool. To play your way into the top 12.5% and thus into Day 2 (Sun, 5:00 PM), you have 10 starting days and 2 Flip&Go days to do so. Late registration is open until the end of Level 10. You start with 100,000 chips. The blinds increase every 30 minutes on Day 1 (every 20 minutes in the Turbo, every 12 minutes in the Hyper Turbo Flight), before they are extended to 40 minutes on Day 2 and 60 minutes on the final day (Mon, 5:00 PM).
As a special incentive on Days 1A and 1B, chip leader bonuses of €3,000, €2,000, and €1,000 will be awarded to the top 3. In addition, multiple qualifications will be rewarded: anyone who makes it to Day 2 twice will receive €1,000, for the third qualification there will be another €2,000, and anyone who makes it to Day 2 four times will receive an additional €5,000 on top.
For the first time, online qualifications for the Card Poker Series Main Event will also be offered, which will be held daily at 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM for Slovak players and at 7:30 PM for players in the Czech Republic on synortip Poker.

Card Poker Series – Day 1A
With 139 entries, the first starting day on Tuesday was already well attended, which could also be due to the €6,000 chip leader bonus for the top 3. 18 players were able to bag their chips for Day 2 at the end. Among them were two Austrians: Josef Ahmed finished the starting day in 18th place in the chip count with 418,000 chips, while Christian Sykore amassed 731,000 chips at the end, which meant 10th place in the daily standings.
However, others shared the bonuses at the very top. Genadi Genchev (BUL) not only secured a good starting position for Day 2 with 1,227,000 chips, but also a €1,000 chip leader bonus. Miroslav Matejcek (CZE) received €2,000, bagging a stack of 1,408,000 chips. The first chip leader of the Card Poker Series on Tuesday evening was “MATS” from Sweden, who was able to sleep on it with 1,657,000 chips bagged and a €3,000 chip leader bonus.
