€130 IPS €1.5MILLION PLO Knockout
In the IPS Side Event, 40 players went on a bounty hunt for a €100 buy-in plus a €30 bounty per head. In this Pot-Limit Omaha event, 13 re-entries were also taken, clearly missing the €8,000 guarantee, and the participants were happy about an overlay. €1,590 thus landed in the bounty pool, while after deducting tax and fees, €5,130 were available in the regular prize pool for the top 8. The min-cash was €265 and the win prize was €1,681.

Among the 8 ITM finishers was “Kaizen” from Germany, who was able to celebrate a €306 payout for 6th place after the elimination of Presiyan Tsvetanov (BUL, 8th, €265) and Giorgi Makaradze (GEO, 7th, €272). After “berserk” (UKR, 5th, €373) and Dalibor Sula (CZE, 4th, €491) had to leave the table, the top 3 agreed on a deal. According to this, Cladimir Gigolashvili (GEO) received €1,000 for third place, while ranks 1 and 2 were paid equally. King’s Regular Günter Jakwerth from Austria received €1,211 as the official runner-up, and the bragging rights for the IPS victory went to the official winner from Israel, Noam Hanaor, with one euro more.

€50 Beginner’s Mystery Bounty

In the relatively new Beginner’s Mystery Bounty, 35 players started for a €50 buy-in, of which €30 went into the regular prize pool and €20 into the bounty pool. The 26 re-entries added during late registration were far from enough to break the €5,000 guarantee, so the beginners could enjoy a big overlay. At the Hilton Hotel Prague, home of King’s Casino Prague, €1,220 was in the bounty pool at the end, while after deducting tax and fees, €2,980 awaited the top 8 in the regular part of the prize pool. The payouts ranged from €99 to a €1,245 first prize, which included a King of King’s ticket worth €500.
Pleasingly, a guest from Germany also made it to the final table and into the prize money. Jürgen Welp finished the Beginner’s MB Tournament in fourth place, for which he received €263. With the bustout of Miroslav Loner (CZE) in 3rd place (€347), the heads-up pair agreed on a deal: Accordingly, the runner-up Nicola Stagi from Italy received €800 in the end, while the Czech Tomas Hamza celebrated the tournament victory, €483 cash and the €500 KoK ticket.
