As in the first flight on Tuesday, Day 1B of the €300,000 gtd. Card Poker Series Main Event at the Card Casino Samorin (formerly Card Casino Bratislava) offered not only qualification for Day 2 but also a €6,000 chip leader bonus. The three lucrative paid places were accordingly hard-fought. An Austrian player also managed to make it to Day 2.

Card Poker Series €300,000 gtd. Main Event
The Card Poker Series Main Event, with a buy-in of €250 (15% fee), guarantees a hefty €300,000 in the prize pool. To advance among the top 12.5% and thus into Day 2 (Sunday, 5:00 PM), players have the opportunity across 10 starting days and 2 Flip&Go days. Late registration is open until the end of Level 10 each day. Play starts with 100,000 chips. Blinds increase every 30 minutes on Day 1 (every 20 minutes in the Turbo, every 12 minutes in the Hyper Turbo Flight), before being extended to 40 minutes on Day 2 and 60 minutes on the final day (Monday, 5:00 PM).
As a special incentive on Days 1A and 1B, chip leader bonuses of €3,000, €2,000, and €1,000 will be awarded to the top 3 players respectively. Multiple qualifications are also rewarded: those who make it to Day 2 twice will receive €1,000, a triple qualification earns an additional €2,000, and anyone who makes it to Day 2 four times will receive a further €5,000 on top.
For the first time, online qualifications for the Card Poker Series Main Event are also being offered, taking place daily at 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM for Slovak players and at 7:30 PM for players in the Czech Republic on synortip Poker.

Card Poker Series – Day 1B
With 193 entries, the second of the ten starting days saw a full house at the Card Casino Samorin. The participants’ goal, besides securing a chip stack for Day 2, was to finish in the top 3, which was rewarded with a total chip leader bonus of €6,000. The competition for these spots was quite close. With impressive stacks of 1,810,000 and 1,892,000 chips, Slovaks Martin Kopple and Tibor Balasz narrowly missed out on the bonuses. The €1,000 for third place in the chip count went to Mladen Stohjanovic. The Croatian amassed 1,993,000 chips. From the Nanos family, it was Dimitrios Nanos on Wednesday who, as the second-place finisher of the day, not only goes into Day 2 with 2,127,000 chips but also collected €2,000 for it. However, the chip lead was not to be taken from Zoltan Toth. The local hero from Slovakia was delighted with his 2,230,000 chips and the €3,000 bonus.
Among the 25 Day 2 qualifiers was also a German-speaking player. Franz Ziegerhofer successfully completed Day 1B. At the end of the day, 370,000 chips went into the Austrian’s bag.
The first multiple qualifiers also appeared on Day 2. And quite a few of them! The €1,000 bonus for the second qualification was awarded on Wednesday to Tibor Balaz (CRO), „JANJA“ (ITA), Peter Dekany (HUN), Karina (ESP), Luis Mata (VEN), and Pavel Noviotny (CZE), who achieved this feat on both days as an absolute short stack.
