€225 Euro Rounders NLH Mystery Bounty – Final Day
Only 16 of the original 627 entries started the third and final day of the €200k gtd. euroRounders NLH Mystery Bounty Event with €150+€75(Bounty). From the regular €120,975 prize pool, the €28,750 winner’s prize awaited them, and from the €47,025 bounty pool, 16 mystery bounties were still to be won. The final 16 entered the final at 14:00 with a guaranteed €565. The chip leader was the strong-playing German Michael Bachmann, ahead of Romanians Seghei Zglavoci and Eusebiu Jalba. The further hopes for the German-speaking community rested on “Andi G” (GER) and Benjamin Altun (GER).
While their opponents gradually left the final day, the German trio found themselves together at the final table. After Riccardo Santagostino (ITA, €1,355) and MTT crusher Eusebiu Jalba (ROU, €1,930) were eliminated in 9th and 8th place, it was finally “Andi G’s” turn. As the 7th of the 627 runners, he received €2,775. After the German’s bustout, the remaining quartet stopped the clock and agreed on a deal that gave everyone €10,000, with 1st and 2nd place receiving even more. While Sabri Philips (NED), Vasilis Nikolas (SWE), Benjamin Altun (GER) – who started as the third-shortest stack with 18 BBs – and Sergei Zglavoci (ROU) each cashed out their €10,000 as part of the 6-way deal, runner-up “Bozkov” (NED) received €14,200. However, the largest share of the regular prize pool, €20,000, went to the start-to-finish winner Michael Bachmann! Like the German, everyone else had also already received the €250 min-cash. Of course, captured or defended mystery bounties were added to each payout.
