Triton ONE Main Event

Six players, including the dominant chip leader Ander Vallinas from Spain, returned to the final table on Sunday to play for the win.

Four short stacks tried to successfully challenge the two leaders, but in the end, it still came down to a heads-up battle between Ander Vallinas and the Chinese player Zhao Wenjie.

The tide of battle ebbed and flowed for a long time before the Chinese player got the better of it and was able to collect the winner’s prize of $1.585 million.

$15,000 Triton ONE High Roller

From a German-speaking perspective, Day 2 of the $15,000 Triton ONE High Roller was highly anticipated.

490 entries had created a prize pool of $6.9 million, and Day 2 was all about getting into the best possible position.

At the end of Day 2, 24 players remained to play for the victory and the winner’s prize of $1.33 million.

With Manuel Fritz, Klemens Roiter, and Christopher Nguyen, three DACH players are still in the mix; Bryn Kenney leads.

In the race for the Player ONE title on the Player of the Series leaderboard, Nguyen Thi Xoa and Yuna Kanaizumi are at the top of the leaderboard. According to our research, no woman has ever won a PoS title in the Triton Series, meaning one of the two could make history. While Spaniard Ander Vallinas, who currently sits at 402 PoS points, could jump to the top of the overall standings with a top result at the T1 Main Event final table, Nguyen Thi Xoa also has the opportunity to further increase her PoS point total in the High Roller event after successfully surviving Day 1A.
