The PokerStars European Poker Tour Paris, or EPT Paris for short, at the Palais des Congrès managed by Club Barrière Paris, is the second major gathering of the PokerStars Live Community in 2026 after the PokerStars Open in Campione. Throughout 2025, in the inaugural season of the PokerStars Live League, tournament participants collected points for the leaderboard in 3 buy-in tiers (H, M, L), with the respective top 3 also earning lucrative prizes. Now the winners were also to receive their trophies. However, it has not yet been revealed which of the 30 eligible candidates from the leaderboard will become the new PokerStars Ambassador.

PokerStars Live League 2025

In some cases, it was photo finishes that decided the victory in the individual tiers during the inaugural season of the PokerStars Live League. Now, as part of the SAG Championship at EPT Paris, the 3 winners were honored and were able to receive their respective iconic trophies on stage in front of the final table.

PokerStars Live League – Froehli & Roiter on the podium, also Nguyen & Sturm in the €100k casting!
High Tier (Buy-Ins €/$/£5.000+)
In the High Tier, there was a duel from the beginning to the end of the season between the Austrian high roller Klemens Roiter and his Italian opponent Enrico Camosci. Roiter had the victory in his hands with impressive performances, but traveled from EPT Prague to WSOP Paradise a few days before the end of the PokerStars season, which Camosci took advantage of. A PokerStars Spade win in the Czech capital, as well as a deep run in the EPT Prague Main Event, helped him snatch the PokerStars Live League overall victory from Klemens Roiter at the very last moment. The Lithuanian number 1, Aleksejs Ponakovs, finished in third place with some distance.

| Pos. | Player | Country | Pts. | Price |
| #1 | Enrico Camosci | Italy | 4,025.13 | 62.400 € |
| #2 | Klemens Roiter | Austria | 3,778.38 | 21.200 € |
| #3 | Aleksejs Ponakovs | Latvia | 2,039.84 | 10.600 € |
Medium Tier (Buy-Ins €/$/£1.000-4.999)
In the Medium Buy-In Tier, which, unlike its higher counterpart, included both European Poker Tour and PokerStars Open events, Gerard Rubiralta from Andorra had the most stamina. The SCOOP and WCOOP champion signaled his ambitions for the Live League victory with a top 3 finish in the PSO High Roller at the PokerStars Open in Campione, and would ultimately end up with the trophy and the top prize. He was followed by Petre Ionescu from Romania and the Belgian PokerStar Kenny Hallaert.

| Pos. | Player | Country | Pts. | Price |
| #1 | Gerard Rubiralta Cortes | Spain | 3,499.25 | 25.600 € |
| #2 | Petre Bogdan Ionescu | Romania | 2,803.77 | 6.600 € |
| #3 | Kenny Hallaert | Belgium | 2,792.55 | 3.300 € |
Low Tier (Buy-Ins €/$/£0-999)
By far the most exciting race for one of the three PokerStars Live League trophies took place in the Low Tier. The Icelander Steinn Thanh Du Karlsson took the lead at the beginning of the season with success at PSO Campione, but was then caught and overtaken by the Swiss Andreas Froehli. However, he spent the summer grind in Las Vegas, which allowed Karlsson to take the lead again in the meantime. In the meantime, the Spaniard Soraya Estrada also joined the title fight. The Scotsman David Docherty had a strong finish at the end of the season. In what was essentially the last tournament of PSO Namur, the final Live League stop of the season, the order of ranks 1 to 3 was decided in the Low Tier, which ultimately ended up being Karlsson, Froehli, Docherty.

PokerStars Live League Ambassador
A very special incentive for many players was a contract as a PokerStars Ambassador with a value of €100.000, for which the top 10 of each tier could apply. Of course, this was not an option for everyone, as some players already had other contractual relationships, or they (Barny Boatman, Kenny Hallaert) were already PokerStars Ambassadors anyway. PokerStars informed hochgepokert that they were unable to provide specific information about the return of the application questionnaires, but that they had received a large number of questionnaires back.

PokerStars Live League 2026
In 2026, there will once again be a PokerStars Live League, at the end of which there will again be 3 players in each of the High, Medium, and Low tiers who can look forward to substantial tournament ticket bundles. This means that 3 champions will be crowned again this year. However, there are also 4 changes compared to the previous year. The most significant is that there is no €100.000 PokerStars Ambassador contract to be awarded among the top 10 of each tier. Instead, the top 30 of each tier will receive access to a €100.000 freeroll at the end of the season. All changes and details about the PokerStars Live League season can be found in the associated hochgepokert article:
