At the Onyx Club High Roller Series at the Onyx Club in Cyprus, the winner of the $25,000 NLH Main Event was determined yesterday.

A total of 207 entries had been registered over two starting days, of which 32 players returned for Day 2 and played down to the final nine for the final table.
From a German-speaking perspective, two Austrian hopes were still in contention: Jessica Teusl and Matthias Lipp. Jessica had started the day as a short stack and unfortunately, she was the first to leave the tournament at the final table. Unfortunately, her 
were no match for Patrik Antonius‘ 
on the 
-board and she busted in 9th place for $100,000.
Our other DACH hope, Matthias Lipp, also fell victim to the Finnish poker legend Patrik Antonius. Lipp got his chips in with 
against Antonius’ 
, flopped top pair on a 
board, but Antonius made a straight on the 
river. For sixth place, Matthias Lipp received $200,000.
Patrik Antonius had started the day as the chip leader, but after eliminating the Austrians, things went downhill quickly for him. He busted in 5th place for $270,000.

In the end, Australian Geoffrey Mooney and Ottomar Ladva from Estonia faced each other heads-up. The latter went on to win the tournament and collect $1,150,000 for it.
