GCA Pokerroom 2.0 – Guarantee cracked in NLP Main Event; 72 players in the final!

Yesterday, Saturday, three tournaments were offered as part of the NUTS Festival powered by Nuts Livepoker Stuttgart at the Grand Casino As (GCA), including the last two starting days for the €120 Main Event and a side event.

€120 NLP Main Event (€60,000 GTD)

The NLP Main Event offers a total of four starting days with a final on Sunday. Two of the starting days took place yesterday, Saturday, and brought a total of 352 entries. These are added to the 237 entries from Day 1A & 1B, bringing the total to 589 entries and €70,680 in starting fees (before deduction of fees).

On Day 1C, there were 144 participants and 52 re-entries. 24 players survived, with Mario Baumann as the chip leader.

On the second starting day of the tournament, a total of 156 entries were counted, including 47 re-entries. 19 players were able to bag their chips for the final day, led by Jakub Kraszewski.

72 survivors will return today at 1:00 PM for the final and will compete for a top prize of €11,165. For now, everyone is guaranteed a min-cash of €200.

€100 Nuts on the River (€8,000 GTD)

A side event, the €100 Nuts on the River, was also held. 49 players registered for it and paid for an additional 19 re-entries. This was not enough to meet the guarantee, so the casino had to contribute a little.

Eleven players were happy about this and received a share of the prize pool. When there were only three players left, a deal was made. Afterwards, two German players with the nicknames ‘Guenni‘ and ‘Nickelby‘ each took home the largest payout of €1,800.

Today, the NUTS Festival concludes with the NLP Main Event Final at 1:00 PM and a €70 NUTS Shutdown (€5,000 GTD) at 2:00 PM.
