Event #22: €5.300 EPT Main Event – Day 1A
There are two starting days for the European Poker Tour Main Event in Paris, and the first one brought 573 entries yesterday. Of those, 180 survived the day and will return to the tables tomorrow for Day 2. Day 3 will then take place on Thursday, Day 4 on Friday, Day 5 on Saturday, and the final on Sunday.
Yesterday was, of course, a showcase of superstars in Day 1A with international greats such as Erik Seidel, Maria Konnikova, Stephen Song, Adrian Mateos, Eugene Katchalov, Mike Watson, or Kenny Hallaert.

From a German-speaking perspective, there was active participation, but only ten survived the day. The best position is held by Dietrich Fast (DE) in 15th place. Other DACH representatives still in the race include Thomas Mühlöcker (AT), Lars Kamphues (DE), Oliver Weis (DE), and Loris Corbelli (CH). The overall chip leader is the Frenchman Thomas Cazayous.
