The €1.650 PokerStars Open Main Event has reached the final five players. 44 players had previously entered the penultimate day of play.
On the way there, players from the DACH countries Frank Koopmann (42nd place, GER – €10.430), Andreas Stocker (34th place, SUI – €11.980), Andreas Putz (32nd place – GER, €11.980) and Nils Maibaum (27th place, GER – €15.860) were eliminated.
The latter became the best player from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in the tournament – no player from the German-speaking countries is left in the race.
There are now five players left, all of whom are guaranteed €112.540. The goal, of course, is the €551.090 title.
Adam Martinsson from Sweden currently has the best chances, sitting in first position with 27.150.000 chips.
He is followed by Lulei Hu from Italy, who follows him with 22.350.000 chips. In third position, Enzo Nicolas from France is waiting for his chance with 18.675.000 chips.
