The PokerStars European Poker Tour Paris, EPT Paris for short, started on Wednesday at the Palais des Congrès, managed by Club Barrière Paris. The 52 PokerStars LIVE events kicked off directly with the PokerStars Open and the first two of the six starting days. Among the successful PSO players, alongside many poker celebrities, was a strong contingent of participants from the D-A-CH region!

Event #03: €1.100 NL Hold’em – Day 1

In the €1,1k NLHE event, a total of 451 entries gathered on Day 1 for the buy-in of €960+€40+€100. Play continued until the 63 ITM finishers were found. They will share the €432.960 prize pool, which started with a €1.790 min-cash and will end today with a winner’s prize of €84.760.

Ultimately, 2 players were eliminated at different tables on the money bubble, meaning they shared the min-cash. While internationally experienced players like Maciej Gut (POL, 82.000), Michal Schuh (CZE, 153.000), Ankit Ahuja (IND, 283.000), or Florian Ribouchon (FRA, 513.000) were able to find chip bags at their seats, 4 German-speaking players are also still in the mix.

Andreas Stocker (SUI) is in 51st place in the intermediate standings with 92.000 chips, Ali Abdulzahra (GER) brought it to 161.000 chips and thus 37th place, Florian Nagel (GER) stayed overnight with a 224.000 stack in 22nd place on the board. The best German-speaking player after Day 1 is Erik Eisen (GER), who is in a promising 6th place with 443.000 chips earned.

At the very front of the chip counts are Pedro Jorge (POR) with 556.000, Eric Geraume (FRA) with 646.000, and Day 1 chip leader Elio Berreby (FRA) with 860.000 chips on the biggest stacks.

Event #04: €10.200 Mystery Bounty – Day 1

In the Mystery Bounty event with a buy-in of €4.600+€400+€5.000+€200 (Prize pool + Staff Charge + Bounty + House Fee), 75 high rollers entered Day 1. 10 levels were played there, and 30 participants survived. Late registration is still open until the start of today’s Day 2. The winner will receive around €100.000 from the regular part of the prize pool, and the top mystery bounty will be awarded twice and amount to €50.000.
