At the Battle of Malta 2026, the focus is primarily on the €530+70 Main Event – and with a significantly larger scope than before.

In recent years, the Battle of Malta Main Event has established itself as one of the most popular tournaments in Europe. Large international fields, multiple starting days, and a structured, player-friendly approach have made the tournament attractive to both ambitious recreational players and experienced grinders. With the doubling of the guarantee, the Main Event 2026 is expected to gain even more traction and once again attract players from all over Europe to the island.
€600 Battle Of Malta Main Event
The organizers have confirmed that the guaranteed prize money for the centerpiece of the festival will be increased from €500,000 to €1,000,000. The five starting days will run from May 28 to May 31, 2026 at Casino Malta on the Mediterranean island of Malta. Day 2 will take place on May 31, Day 3 on June 1, Day 4 on June 2, and the final will be played on June 3.
From May 27 to May 30, satellites for the Main Event will also be on the schedule.
Battle of Malta Side Events
In addition to the Main Event, there are a number of interesting side events on the schedule, such as the €160+€100+€40 Mystery Bounty on May 28/29, the €1,000+€100 High Roller on May 31/June 1, and the €135+€15 Ladies Event on June 1.

Battle Of Malta Hotel Deals

At the InterContinental Malta and the Voco Hotel, rooms are offered from €180 per night (single or double, without breakfast), with a breakfast option available optionally. The Holiday Inn Express offers overnight stays including breakfast from €145 per night (single or double).
