€480 Pirates Poker Treasure Blackbeard Mystery Bounty – Day 1C Speed
For a €330+€150 (Bounty) buy-in, 50 pirates entered the third of the 9 starting days (plus 1 Flip and Go) at Pokerroom King’s on Wednesday. During late registration, 15 re-entries were added, confirming that 10 sailors (15%) would finish in the money and 9 (12.5%) would advance to Day 2 (Sunday, 5:00 PM).
Among the successful buccaneers was the German-speaking pirate Patrick Lojewski. He managed to collect 563,000 chips and was tied for 2nd place with his fellow pirate “Alby” from Italy. Only the Italian Filippo Ragone sailed safely into the Day 2 harbor at the end of the day. Ragone overnighted with 810,000 chips and secured the €1,150 chip leader bonus in the form of King’s Main Event tickets.
