At the Triton ONE (T1) Series at LES A Casino Jeju, Day 2 and Day 3 of the $8k T1 Main Event were held in front of livestream viewers. In the process, the field of the prestigious Triton Series event was reduced from an original 1,230 entries to just 6 players. The winner will receive a whopping $1.585.000 from the $8.945.790 prize pool, as well as plenty of points for the Player ONE PoS standings. In addition, the $15k Triton ONE High Roller was also started, where German player and HR crusher Chris Nguyen finished the day as the 2nd chipleader.

Event #20: $15k Triton ONE High Roller – Day 1A
In the $15k Triton ONE High Roller event, significantly more of the Super High Rollers waiting for the subsequent Triton SHRS Jeju were represented than in the “cheaper” T1 events. There were a total of 213 entries on starting day 1A, which was played until 40 players remained in Level 15 at blinds of 10k/25k-25k.
While players from the D-A-CH-L faction such as Manuel Fritz, Bernhard Binder, Erik Eisen, Hannes Jeschka, Samuel Mullur, and Roland Rokita will have to try again in another flight after their bustouts on Day 1A, a German-speaking quartet jumped straight into Day 2. Marin Sedlak (GER), fighting bravely as a short stack, will start the continuation of the High Roller event with 9 BBs; Klemens Roiter (AUT) impressed once again with 25 BBs bagged; Leon Sturm (GER) sits with 41 BBs, just below the average of 43 BBs; and Christoph Nguyen (GER) finished Day 1A as the 2nd chipleader with an impressive 121 BBs. This put him ahead of players like Bryn Kenney (USA, 116 BBs), Alex Kulev (BUL, 96 BBs), Stephen Chidwick (GBR, 52 BBs), Isaac Haxton (USA, 48 BBs), Emilien Pitavy (FRA, 33 BBs), Johannes Straver (NED, 32 BBs), and Ren Li (CHN, 16 BBs). Only Xu Liang from China was ahead of him in the chip counts, who will pull 143 BBs out of his chip bag on Day 2.
