Monday on PokerStars is traditionally the day the Sunday Million final table is played. This was no different within the framework of the SCOOP (Spring Championship of Online Poker). Fortunately, 3 German-speaking players and one “PokerHorst” were able to take a seat at it. Just like in the Million, no other titles were won for the German-speaking community, but several podium finishes with big payouts were achieved. The trophies in the day’s 24 decisions were taken by the usual suspects like Patrick “pads1161” Leonard, Boris “b.a.angelov” or Samuel “€urop€an” Vousden, Niklas “Lena900” Aastedt or Juan “Malaka$tyle” Pardo.

Sunday Million (SCOOP Event #40-M) – Day 2
141 of the 10,619 entries had returned for the final day of PokerStars’ signature tournament. The largest PKO bounties and payouts from the $1,061,900 prize pool were still waiting for them. The Tree Snake from Germany entered the final as the chip leader, which was certainly an excellent starting position, but didn’t necessarily mean much with this number of players. However, the MTT specialist slithered his way to the final table, where he met other German-speaking players. They, however, were the first to leave the FT: “hocka66” (AUT) finished ninth for $4,817+$2,287, while “Ronnysuper” took 8th place with a $6,767+$2,087 payout after a super performance. The Tree Snake left opponent after opponent behind and crawled into 3-handed play. There, the Sunday Million ended for the German MTT crusher, which paid off for him with $41,214+$8,006. He only had to give way to a “PokerHorst” from Malta and the Sunday Million champion, “nomalice”, who collected $55,212+$30,384 for it.

SCOOP Events
Of the 24 SCOOP trophies, a relatively large number went to the big names of the online poker scene on Monday: “€urop€an” won the $1,050 Sunday High Roller for $65,045 against 349 opponents, “b.a.angelov” remained at the table until the end in the $530 Sunday Kickoff against 299 adversaries and won $28,218, Niklas “Lena900” Aastedt also stayed ahead in the final heads-up against Blaz “Scarmak3r” Zerjav in the $1,050 Sunday Warm-Up and added $21,148+$22,935 to his bankroll. And Patrick “pads1161” Leonard picked up the next SCOOP trophy in the $1,050 PLO8 less than 24 hours after his trophy win, receiving $20,551.

In the same event, the Austrian “aufzuckerter” had to give way to the Brit in heads-up play, leaving him with a $15,778 runner-up prize. Another DACH podium was achieved by “polaris” in the $22 Deep Stacks, which was rewarded with $7,608. In the $530 HORSE, “LarryRudex” upheld the DACH honor until 3-handed play and cashed for $5,012. And what would a grind day be without a top placement from “HardiZ1”. The German took 3rd in the $1,050 NLHE Turbo PKO, along with $6,202+$500 for the PokerStars bankroll. “TamTam93AT” made a real splash in the $22 NLHE Turbo, where 3rd place was rewarded with $3,643. And the German high roller “assel007” also achieved a top result as runner-up in the $109 NLHE Turbo, earning $8,244.
