On Saturday, one highlight followed another at King’s Resort! In the King’s Pokerroom in Rozvadov, both Main Events were played as part of the King’s Million. In addition to the PLO edition, the King’s Million NLH Main Event Part 1 of Day 1B was about surviving 8 levels and collecting as many chips as possible in the hunt for the guaranteed million-euro prize pool. For the survivors, it continues today with the joint Part 2 of the starting day 1AB. €250 King’s Million – Day 1B Part 1
In the first part of the second starting day, 106 starters gathered at the tournament tables in the King’s Pokerroom for a €250 buy-in. The goal was to survive 8 of the extra-long 60-minute blind levels. All those who found a chip bag at their seat at the end of the day will be able to unpack it again today for Part 2 of Day 1AB.
58 players succeeded, including “Mephisto” (55,000), Dong He (98,300), or “PistolePete” (185,100). Josip Matijasevic from Croatia secured the chip lead. 312,000 chips mean that he will start Part 2 today with 156 BBs at blinds 1,000/2,000-2,000, where not only a min-cash and Day 2 qualification await, but also a chip leader bonus for the top 5 of €3,000 each. “Sonetschko” from Germany also secured a very good starting position, finishing Day 1B Part 1 as the 2nd chip leader with a 239,000 stack. He is followed by the Chinese player Lixin Su with 230,000 chips.
