This new event will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, bringing a breath of fresh air to the festival schedule, which runs from March 31 to April 12, 2026. The 2026 edition of WSOP Europe marks a restart of the event in the Czech capital with a series of 15 bracelet tournaments, which now include this new Ladies Championship alongside the Main Event.
New Ladies Event with Prestige
Unlike previous Ladies tournaments, which did not award official bracelets, the winner of this tournament will receive a dedicated WSOP gold bracelet. This has been specially designed for this championship, including individual customization with additional gemstones. This piece of jewelry is considered a symbol of victory in the Ladies Event and stands out visually and symbolically from the regular bracelet prize.
With the introduction of this event, the WSOP underscores its intention to promote and increase the visibility of women in live poker. In Las Vegas, the Ladies Event has long been one of the most popular and vibrant formats of the series; now, this tradition is to be transferred to the European highlight.

Significance for WSOP Europe
The expansion of the format to include a dedicated Ladies Championship fits into a broader concept of WSOP Europe, which aims to appeal to different segments of the poker community.
Overall, this decision is a step towards greater diversity within major live poker events and a sign that women’s tournaments are increasingly gaining importance at the world’s most significant series.
