WSOPE Event #14: €1.100 PLO Double Board Bomb Pot – Day 2
17 of the 280 entries returned to the tables at the Hilton Prague on the final day of the most action-packed event of the WSOP Europe in Prague. The popular, still young PLO format also captivated numerous German-speaking players. Three of the German-speaking Omaha specialists had kept their chances for a WSOP bracelet alive until the second and final day. In the top-tier field, they were already guaranteed €2.660 from the €280.000 prize pool, but for the victory, there was to be €60.000 in prize money alongside the coveted bracelet.
The German trio consisting of Rene “Renemastermix” Majed, Jonas Heuser, and Matyas Kovacs all survived the first pay jump together, but then were eliminated in quick succession in ranks 13 to 15 with a €3.110 payout.
The final table was extremely exciting even without them, featuring, among others, 28-time *COOP champion and perhaps the best mixed game player in the world, Benny Glaser from Great Britain, as well as 13-time WSOPC ring winner Ari Engel. After the bustouts of Tomasz Kokoszka (€4.600) from Poland and Brit Tom Hall (€5.800), Ari Engel was unable to add a bracelet to his illustrious WSOP jewelry collection, but €7.500 landed in his bankroll.
Norwegian Sondre Stormyr (€10.000) and Spaniard Jorge Pardo (€13.600) finished the DBBP event in 6th and 5th place, while Japanese player Hayato Kitajima (€18.800) landed in 4th place.
3-handed, online and live legend Benny “RunGodlike” Glaser was still in the mix. He would remain so until the last hand, although he finished third (€26.7000) in the final standings. Because in the final hand, Richard Geyer won the 14th bracelet event of the WSOPE 2026 with a double knockout. Alongside Glaser, Canadian Mehmet Signic fell victim to the American, sending €39.000 to Canada and €60.000 plus the bracelet to the USA.
