The World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) 2026 at King’s Casino Prague broke its record even before the final starting day 1C yesterday, Easter Sunday.

€5.300 World Series Of Poker Main Event – Day 1C
A total of 1.456 entries were collected over Days 1A and 1B, and on Day 1C on Easter Sunday, there were another 713. Thus, the total number of participants for the 2026 WSOPE Main Event is 2.174 for the moment. Since registration is still open until the end of Level 12 on Day 2, we do not have any final payouts to report yet.
Yesterday, 299 players survived the day and will return to the tables today for Day 2. Many well-known names can be found on the 1C list at the end of the day, such as Michael Mizrachi, Viktor Blom, Espen Jorstad, Michael Leah, Byron Kaverman, Joey Weissman, Patrik Jaros, Jon Kyte, Jason Wheeler, Vanessa Kade and Alex Keating.

From a DACH perspective, things also look excellent with Daniel Rezaei from Austria as the chip leader. He was able to earn 255 Big Blinds over Day 1C and is thus also the overall chip leader for the entire tournament. Right behind him with 199 Big Blinds is the German Jan-Henrik Westerhoff.
