
At the Irish Poker Open powered by PokerStars Live, the third starting day of the €1.150 Main Event with a guarantee of €2.5 million was offered yesterday, Thursday.

The legendary poker tournament offers five starting days. During the first two, 1,176 entries had been collected so far, and yesterday on Day 1C, another 1,065 were added. This brings the total to 2,241 with two starting days remaining on the Easter weekend. There is therefore a chance to break last year’s record of 4,562.
252 players made the leap from yesterday’s starting day into Day 2 on Saturday at 12:00. The Englishman Alexander Rizvi emerged as the chip leader with 748,000 chips. The best DACH placement was achieved by Adrian Thomas Vogt from Switzerland. He finished the day with 480,000 chips in 10th place.
