Man of the day from a German-speaking perspective was “colchonoirot” from Austria, who struck at the SCOOP Side Event, the $215 StacKOsaurus, and pocketed over $10,000 as the winner.

The German-speaking players also came very close to a tournament victory in the $1,050 PLO (SCOOP Event #74-H), which the Brazilian “Internett93o” was able to win. Behind him on the medal ranks were “B00mslang” and Ole “wizowizo” Schemion, who were able to celebrate nearly $20,000 and $15,000 respectively.

Also narrowly missing out on a victory was “de_fabbe” from Germany in the $215 8 Game (SCOOP Event 76-H). He finished in 2nd place behind the Mexico-based “merla888” and collected around $4,000 in prize money.
