The highly anticipated final day of the King’s Million PLO Main Event took place at King’s Resort Rozvadov on Monday. 16 of the 670 entries played for the guaranteed million, and 8 German-speaking players still had hopes for the title along with the €176.200 top prize, led by a divine chip leader!

King’s Million PLO Main Event
The King’s Million Pot-Limit Omaha Main Event, as the name suggests, has a 1 million Euro prize pool guarantee. Players could compete for the seven-figure prize pool for a €1.100 buy-in (15% Fee) across 6 flights (5 starting days + 1 Flip and Go). Participants received 50.000 starting chips and 40 minutes of playing time per level in the regular flights. The top 15% of each starting flight finished in the money, securing at least €2.200 on their King’s Card. Play then continued without further hand-for-hand play until only 12.5% of the field remained. These players bagged their chips for Day 2 of the 3-day event. Day 2 was played on Sunday starting at 17:00 with blinds extended to 45 minutes, and later one-hour blind levels. The grand finale started on Monday at 14:00.

€1.100 King’s Million PLO ME – Final Day
With a guaranteed €5.525 from the (after deduction of tax and fee) €850.000 net prize pool, the final 16 of the original 670 KM participants entered the final day. From the final table onwards, payouts started at €13.200, with €176.200 waiting for the winner. Among the contenders for the prestigious title and the six-figure prize money were 8 players from the D-A-CH region, led by the clear chip leader „Thor23111“ from Germany.
4 of the German-speaking Omaha specialists made it to the final table after the elimination of Bulgarian Danail Zhelev, with „Thor23111“ still leading the pack. The D-A-CH community’s title hopes rested solely on him after Leo (GER) finished in 9th place (€9.900), „BLUTO“ (GER) in 6th place (€31.200), and immediately followed by „BallerÜmit“ in 5th place (€42.200).
„Thor23111“ did not relinquish his divine lead in the clashes with Oleksii Holubov (UKR; 4th, €56.200), Adriano Negrisolo (ITA, 3rd, €76.7000) nor against the experienced Bjorn Verbakel. The Dutchman fell short in heads-up play but took home a six-figure payout of €107.200 for his strong performance over the 4 days.
The victory seemed reserved for „Thor23111“ from the start of the final day, as he lived up to his name and displayed divine PLO play. The German was able to celebrate the prestigious title along with the trophy and, last but not least, the €176.200 top prize!
