Team CoinPoker will be strengthened in the future by the Belgian Igor Picone, who was able to record €297.480 as runner-up in the PokerStars High Roller event right at his debut. Igor Picone new CoinPoker ambassador
The Belgian started his live poker career in 2017 with a victory at the Spielbank Aachen in Germany. Since then, he has been able to record total lifetime winnings of nearly 1 million dollars. His top results include runner-up finishes at WSOPC Ring Events in 2018 in Kahnawake (CAN) and 2023 in Marrakech (MAR), where he also reached the final table again in 2024. In addition, there are top-6 finishes at the Breda Poker Series (2018), the PokerStars Festival Lille (2018), the CPS Poker Series Namur (2023), or the Wynn Summer Classics (2024). He was also found at the final table of the €3.300 NLH event at the partypoker MILLIONS, where he ended up cashing $50.000 in 6th place.
His most recent cashes come from the WSOP Paradise $26.000 Super Main Event, where he was able to take home $80.000 to Belgium in 100th place from Paradise Island. He achieved his greatest success and, at the same time, his largest cash of €297.480 at the PokerStars Open High Roller event at the current EPT Paris. Among the 1.162 entries, he only had to give way to Matthew Frankland (ENG) and thus also leave him the trophy.
