On Thursday, Day 1B of the Main Event was played at the German Poker Days powered by GPD. A minimum of €300.000 is guaranteed in the prize pool of the main tournament. At King’s Resort Rozvadov, it wasn’t just about qualifying for the second and thus already final day, but also about the €400 min-cash and the chipleader bonus of €1.150! – Tournament poker was also played at King’s Casino Prague in the Mystery Bounty Thursday!

German Poker Days – Main Event
The German Poker Days are a staple among the poker festivals at King’s Resort. In the current edition, the GPD Main Event features a guaranteed minimum of €300.000, including 10 packages worth €3.000 each for the King’s Million European Poker Championship! Those who want to play for it can qualify for the final (Sun, 17:00) via 8 flights (7 starting days, 1 Flip and Go). The top 10% of flight participants in each case make the cut. The money ranks with the associated €400 min-cash are reached as soon as 15% of players remain on the starting day. In addition, the chiplead on the regular starting days is rewarded with a €1.150 chipleader bonus in the form of King’s Main Event tickets. The entry fee is under €200 at €199, for which you receive 50.000 starting chips and 30 minutes of playing time (12 minutes in the Turbo Flight). On the final day, the blind levels are extended to 40 minutes. The German Poker Days are known for the fact that the final day, usually played on Monday at King’s Resort, is omitted, meaning that not only poker skills but also poker stamina are required for a successful Main Event!

€199 GPD German Poker Days – Day 1B
On the second of the eight starting days, with 133 players, significantly more were at the start than on Wednesday. 54 re-entries increased the number of total entries in Flight 1B to 187. Of these, 29 (15%) were to make it into the money and look forward to €400 on their King’s Card or King’s Resort App. Among them were also 16 German-speaking cashers.
8 players from the D-A-CH region then made the jump into the top 18 (10%), which was equivalent to qualifying for the final. Andreas Bartl (GER) was able to secure a good starting position with 592.000 chips as 7th in the daily rankings. Meanwhile, his compatriots “Godzilla” (GER) and “BENNY” (GER) made it into the top 4 with 794.000 and 853.0000 chips respectively. King’s regular casher “King of Kings” narrowly missed out on the additional €1.150 chipleader bonus. The Swiss MTT expert was able to bag a 943.000 stack and thus finished in 2nd place in the 1B standings. Only Tegin Li (NED) earned more chips on Thursday. As the only chip millionaire of the flight, the Dutchman was able to end the day as the Day 1B chipleader with 1.092.000 and a guaranteed €1.550.
